The Traitors icon Wilf Webster has responded to the possibility of doing an All Stars version of the show.

The star proved to be a highlight of the BBC show's first season as a Traitor, managing to make it all the way to the final before being rumbled at the last minute by the Faithfuls.

However, Wilf has revealed in a new interview with Mecca Bingo that he would "one thousand per cent" do a potential season featuring past contestants – though reckoned he "would be murdered very, very quickly".

"I'd like to go in there and be a Faithful, because a lot of my friends from my series and the other series have been Faithful so I want to share that experience with them as well, knowing how they felt, knowing they might be murdered and stuff like that. So I’d definitely return if they would have me," he added.

While an All Stars spin-off hasn't been confirmed, The Traitors is lining-up a celebrity season, which was announced last year alongside a fourth season of the main show.

One star weighing in on the possibility is The Traitors: Uncloaked host Ed Gamble, who said recently that he would be "terrible" as a contestant.

"I would be arrogant going in, and then absolutely crumble whether I was a Traitor or a Faithful. I'd probably come out the back end of it with no career because I'd be so bad at the game!" he told the Radio Times.

The Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
