The Traitors spoilers follow.

The Traitors unveiled a twist in the format, with Minah and Linda having a secret mission following a heated banishment ceremony.

Friday’s (January 10) saw the remaining two Traitors tasked with a covert operation in the castle, with the pair having to select four other players for a high-stakes game.

It wasn’t just as simple as picking a name, however, with the pair having to write down the names on a portrait – which was in the bar room – using a quill from the library, all whilst keeping their mission quiet.

They succeeded in their task, with Leon, Alexander, Fozia and Anna all joining host Claudia Winkleman for a game called ‘Deathmatch’. The quartet were informed that one member would be left dead at the end, with the match being a simple card game.

The rules saw each player given two cards, with the aim being to possess the ‘life card’ after each player had swapped a card. After the first two rounds, Anna and Alexander were safe from elimination, leaving Leon and Fozia facing the nervous prospect of an exit.

This came after the Faithfuls eliminated yet another member of their own team, with Dan being banished after his tactics - which had been labelled as “single-minded” - during the earlier mission were called into question.

It wasn’t the only exit, with Livi being murdered at the beginning of the episode, though she was incorrect in her assumption that Freddie was to blame. Minah and Linda proclaimed that they used the situation to their advantage.

“It would be so stupid for me to [get rid of Livi],” said Freddie in the VT. “Somebody is trying to stitch me up and I don’t really know who it is. Livi and Tyler were both gunning for me, now the heat is going to be on me because it looks like I have got rid of them.”
