Bridgerton made Regé-Jean Page a big star after previously appearing in Waterloo Road, and now he's reuniting with Netflix for a brand new erotic thriller, which he's also executive producing through his company A Mighty Stranger.

As posted by Netflix's Tudum website: "Hancock Park is an erotic thriller that follows a dangerously charismatic outsider, who invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family – when he rents their backyard guest house.

"But as he dives further into their world, the façade of this elite community begins to crumble, and he exposes the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of LA's most-coveted neighborhoods."

Beyond that, information is pretty thin on the ground. We know that Industry and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Matthew Barry has written the show, while The Count of Monte Cristo's Emily Brown and Yellowjackets' Drew Comins also serving as producers.

The show is currently in development, with more casting and other details set to be announced when production begins.

Page famously bowed out of Bridgerton, where he played Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, after the first season.

Back in 2023 he explained his reasoning, stating: "I signed up to do a job and I did the job and then I did some other jobs. That's it. That's the story. I wish it was more glamorous than that.

"[After] we finished the story, the temptation would be to roll with the distractions and go: 'Oh, well, the story went really well so we can kind of change this up and make some other stuff up, I guess'. That was never what we'd signed up to do."

Earlier this year, he starred in Steven Soderbergh's spy thriller Black Bag with Cate Blanchett, Pierce Brosnan and Michael Fassbender, while his romantic comedy You, Me and Tuscany is due for release in a few months.
