Accused, the crime anthology series that first aired on BBC One between 2010 and 2012, has confirmed to be coming to Netflix, currently sitting in the streamer's "worth the wait" section.
The drama boasts a star-studded cast, which includes Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), Juliet Stevenson (Professor T) and Naomie Harris (No Time to Die) in season one, as well as Anne-Marie Duff (Suspect), Olivia Colman (Broadchurch) and Sheridan Smith (Cleaning Up) in the second season.
Each episode introduces the audience to a different character and story, the common thread being that they have all been accused of something.
Accused was created by Jimmy McGovern, who has since also gone on to bring us the critically-acclaimed prison drama Time.
McGovern also wrote across the episodes of Accused, with other writing contributions coming from the likes of Danny Brocklehurst (Fool Me Once), Alice Nutter (The Street) and Shaun Duggan (Moving On).

The series was described as a "compelling" new drama by the BBC at the time of its release, with a synopsis explaining: "As each hour-long episode unravels viewers learn how each person came to be there. But on reflection should they be the accused?
"Are they innocent or guilty or somewhere in between? And will the jury make the right judgement?"
Accused resurfaced earlier this year on Prime Video UK, but it's sure to reach another audience when it arrives on Netflix, which is expected to be on 10 September. It's not clear whether both seasons will be added to the streaming platform.
Viewers can also look out for The Killing Kind – a British legal thriller originally released in 2023 – which will also be coming to Netflix in early September.
It stars Merlin's Colin Morgan and Emma Appleton (The Witcher), and tells the story of a top barrister that gets a little "too close" to one of her former clients.
Accused aired on the BBC, and is coming to Netflix soon.
