Tulsa King, the crime drama full of "twists and turns", has confirmed its UK release date for its upcoming third season.

The Paramount+ series, created by Yellowstone's Taylor Sheridan, tells the story of mafia member Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) following his release from prison after a 25-year sentence.

As he returns to normal society, Dwight is ordered to relocate to the Oklahoma town of Tulsa, where he is tasked with setting up a criminal empire. Though he makes new friends and accomplices, there's also the prying eyes of rivals and law enforcement agencies.

Following two successful seasons across 2022 and 2024, fans have been eagerly anticipating the next instalment. And they won't have long to wait after Paramount+ confirmed that the third season would premiere on 21 September.

Viewers were quick to praise the last season, which has a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. One audience comment reads: "Story gets better and more intense with a bit more twists and unpredictability. Going from strength to strength with this one. Can't wait for 3rd season..."

"I loved every episode of the second season so many twists and turns and plot twists," another wrote. "Keep doing what you do Tulsa King, I'm waiting for season 3," said another.

While Tulsa King will soon return, the series is getting a spin-off in the form of NOLA King, which features Samuel L Jackson in the lead role. His character, Russell Lee Washington Jr, will make his debut in the third season of the main show, before fronting his own show.

Tulsa King returns to Paramount+ on 21 September. NOLA King has no release date.
