Loch Ness has been given a new lease of life on Netflix, with the trending ITV crime drama absolutely thriving on the streaming service and sitting pretty in the top 10. Death in Paradise actor Don Gilet features as psychological profiler Blake Albrighton, and he stars alongside Laura Fraser (The Missing) and Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley) who play DS Annie Redford and DCI Lauren Quigley respectively.
The six-part drama is set in a picturesque village in the Scottish Highlands, which erupts into chaos when a series of events point to a killer along the coast. Annie and Lauren must then find a way to work together, to get to the bottom of it all.

Based on a series of crime novels by Ann Cleeves, this drama is set on the isolated Scottish Shetland Isles and sees DI Jimmy Pérez (Douglas Henshall) and his team investigate crimes within a close knit-community where the secrets and lies of the past refuse to stay buried.
Pérez and co work their way through mysterious disappearances and murders against the gorgeously remote, picturesque landscape.

Crime
An adaptation of the Irvine Welsh novel of the same name, Crime introduces DI Ray Lennox (Dougray Scott) who is haunted by the abduction of 13 year-old Britney Hamil from the Edinburgh streets.
His desperation to find out what happened to the young girl pushes the detective close to the edge, but Lennox will stop at nothing until he gets to the truth.

Six Four
Grey's Anatomy's Kevin McKidd stars in the Scottish-set crime thriller, based on the bestselling Japanese novel of the same name by Hideo Yokoyama.
The four-part series follows police detective Chris (Kidd) and his wife Michelle (Vinette Robinson), who are dealt a devastating blow when their daughter goes missing. Their horrific ordeal forces Chris to revisit a past unsolved case of a kidnapped girl.

The show follows Nicola Walker's DI Annika Strandhed as she heads up a new specialist Marine Homicide Unit (MHU), where Strandhed and her team get stuck in investigating brutal and unexplained murders.
