Season 1 of Geek Girl has a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, meaning that every review was positive.

Radio Times called it "a feel-good, cosy watch that will be happily approved by dedicated fans of the best-selling source material", referring to the 2013 novel by Holly Smale and its sequels.

"The onscreen version of the bestselling YA novels loses absolutely none of the originals’ charm," said The Guardian. "It's fresh, lively and energetic – with actors that channel the source material brilliantly."

Geek Girl season 1 can be streamed on Netflix now, while season 2 is currently filming.
