Netflix's gritty Korean action drama Mercy for None has cracked the UK top 10 just days after its release, and fans are raving about it.

Starring So Ji-sub in the lead role as Nam Gi-jun, the show follows former gang member Gi-jun, who, after the brutal murder of his younger brother Nam Gi-seok, embarks on a relentless path of revenge.

A synopsis for the show reads: "After Nam Gi-seok's mysterious death, Nam Gi-jun emerges from seclusion on a mission to find the perpetrator, no matter the cost."

Written by Yoo Ki-seong, the gritty show also stars Huh Joon-ho, Ahn Gil-kang, Lee Beom-soo, Gong Myung, Choo Young-woo, and Jo Han-chul.

Directed by Choi Sung-eun, the new series was released on the streaming service on 6 June and is already proving a hit among viewers.
