Stephen Graham has joined the cast of a new detective series, based on the Joona Linna novels by Lars Kepler.

According to Deadline, the as-yet-untitled project will follow protagonist Jonah Lynn, an ex-solider turned homicide detective who leaves Philadelphia for a quiet life in Western Pennsylvania.

However, when the small town is attacked by prolific serial killer Jurek Walter, Jonah is forced back into the action to protect his family.

As he struggles to find the last missing victim, desperate Jonah allows his adopted daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer, to face off against the villain. But will his sacrifice pay off?

The series will star The Perfect Couple's Liev Schreiber in the lead role, with Deadpool 2's Zazie Beetz playing Saga Bauer.
