Sky has announced that A League of Their Own is ending after 15 years and 19 – soon to be 20 – seasons.
The sports-themed comedy quiz panel show began in 2010 and was hosted by Gavin & Stacey's James Corden for years, with Taskmaster and The Weakest Link's Romesh Ranganathan taking over in 2020.
Jamie Redknapp has been captain of the red team since the start, while the blue team was captained by Freddie Flintoff before Jill Scott took over. Comedians like John Bishop and Jack Whitehall were regular panellists, while Mo Gilligan and pundit Micah Richards are more recent regulars.
"15 years and 19 seasons later, it's time for one last round of chaos, madness and endless laughter," a post from Sky reads. "The farewell season of A League of Their Own, season 20, coming later this year."
Fans commented that they were "devastated" by the announcement, and called it "one of the funniest shows on TV".
