Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours has confirmed details of the dramatic storyline involving Sadie Rodwell, with actor Emerald Chan sharing that her character will "no longer feel safe."
Next week's scenes will see Sadie disappear without a trace following a night out with Holly Hoyland at the Back Lane Bar. She leaves her phone and handbag behind and her friend wonders where she is.
The vanishing act comes after a mystery man incorrectly assumes that Sadie is the girlfriend of Max Ramsay, a figure who has recently seen his past come back to haunt him following his move to Erinsborough. The man drugs Sadie before removing her from the bar, leaving Holly confused.

In an interview with NowToLove, Chan – who has played Sadie since 2022 – detailed elements of the initial disappearance, sharing: "The girls were looking for a fun night. Holly had recently missed out on the job at the Piano Bar and needed cheering up. It was a fun night out – until it wasn't."

Following a lucky tip-off, Sadie will eventually find her way home, though Chan confirmed that the ordeal will have a lasting impact on her character, explaining: "Holly was the only person who had some idea of Max's past, but could never have anticipated Sadie would get caught up in it."
"Sadie is overwhelmed with what happened," she added. "It has a massive effect on her wellbeing and changes the way she views the world. She no longer feels safe."
