Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday's episode (9 June), which is available to watch on streaming service Channel 4 but hasn't yet aired on TV.

Hollyoaks reveals Beth Keane's shocking baby secret tonight, amid her ongoing feud with the Osbornes. The newcomer has been furious trying to find Charlie Dean in order to get justice for her family after the car accident - but is she hiding something as well?

In recent episodes, Beth pretended to make peace with her brother Darren and his family by inviting them to dinner at her house. However, while the Osbornes were occupied, she sent her son Maddox to their house, adamant that they were hiding Charlie.

Last night, Darren tried to help Charlie escape before Charlie finally handed himself in to the police. But vengeful Beth wasn't satisfied with his arrest and threatened to report Frankie, Darren and Nancy for their complicity in his crime.

Today's episode picks up from the cliffhanger, as Jack pleads with his daughter to end the family feud. Though Beth reluctantly puts the phone down, her disdain for the Osbornes continues and she hurls insults at them in the pub.

What to Read Next

The newcomer takes things too far when she makes a comment about Nancy's late sister Becca, who died in prison, saying she hoped Charlie suffers the same way as his mum. Later, she softens, telling Darren she "could've handled today a bit better" and the siblings have a teary heart-to-heart about their recent troubles.

"You seem to have come here with this idea, right, this misconception that we're all just one big happy family, yeah? But you couldn't be further from the truth," he says, alluding to Frankie's horrific rape ordeal.

"Here's the thing. No matter what you do or how you behave, Jack is always there to pick up the pieces. You've had both your parents, Darren. My mum died, my adopted parents died, and Jack knew that and he did nothing," Beth replies, explaining her anger towards him.

Following their emotional chat, Beth invites Darren back to her house to make amends and they look through old baby pictures together. Having called around to see Caleb, Frankie joins the pair as they bond.

The teenager later comes across a box containing a blue teddy, a picture of Beth holding a newborn baby - which has been torn to remove another person - and a hospital band with only the words "baby Lo..." legible.

As she examines the photo, Beth storms over, snatching it out of her hands and warning her that she "did not see anything". What exactly is Beth hiding?
