Hollyoaks has revealed Leah Barnes’ new matchmaking scheme, as she strives to get her friends Vicky Grant and Prince McQueen to strike up a romance amid her return to the village. But will she be successful, and will loved-up Leah create another happy couple?
"Vicky and Prince got close to making their budding romance official," our insider explains. "But Vicky put things on hold and told Prince she’d go on a date with him if he stayed away from steroids. Now Leah is spotting the obvious chemistry between the pair and wants to do something about it…"

Leah and Imran are currently staying with the Maaliks, but Leah is keen for them to get their own space as soon as possible. She soon gets a distraction though, when she spots Prince and Vicky looking cosy and she asks why they aren’t together.
Vicky and Prince explain their recent struggles with steroids and weight loss jabs, and a plan quickly forms in Leah’s mind.

Leah invites the pair to join her and Imran for a pub lunch, and she even uses her new wealth to pay for Casa McQueen to close so Prince doesn’t have to work and can attend. The friends enjoy their time together, and carry the party on elsewhere…
"The group head to The Loft, and their lunch becomes a night out!" says our source. "Prince can’t hide his surprise when he spies Leah and Imran splashing the cash in the club without a care in the world, but he enjoys spending time with Vicky more than anything."
Back at home, Leah tells Vicky that she has an idea for a new podcast that would star her and Prince, and she anxiously awaits Vicky’s answer to her suggestion.

After a big night out, Vicky is struck down with a hangover, but Prince is feeling positive and looks forward to spending more alone time with her.
Leah’s podcast idea is under threat, so she tries to save her project by taking Vicky out shopping. The spontaneous trip manages to cheer Vicky up, and the pair return to the village later all glammed up.
Ste and Leela join the Maaliks for breakfast the next day, and all eyes are on Vicky after recent events. Vicky then heads to the McQueens house to be honest with Prince – but is she going to confess her feelings or call things off?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
