Hollyoaks has promised some shocking reveals next week, as some Black family secrets are exposed around the dinner table.
Since Clare Devine admitted that the baby her sister gave birth to as a teenager is in fact alive and well, Grace has been attempting to uncover old memories and find her secret child.
But Clare has so far tried to stop Grace investigating her past, and it seems that she may know more than she is letting on.
Elsewhere, when Rex was recently released from prison, he delivered Grace a letter from their grandfather Froggy, who wanted to connect with her again – but she wasn’t interested.

Rex was released after he told the police about his sisters’ criminal activity, and while Grace was happy to move forward, Clare was furious with Rex for his betrayal.
In next week’s episodes, Grace continues to try and reconnect with Rex, but he rejects her and brushes her off.
Clare expresses her frustration that her sister has forgiven Rex so quickly, but she is interrupted when Froggy turns up at their door…

"Froggy is out of prison on day release," explains our source, "and his first stop is to see his granddaughters. His surprise visit doesn’t exactly go down well though. While Grace apologises for ignoring his letter, Clare warns him to stay away from the family."
Meanwhile, Ste invites Rex over to the Lomaxes, thinking that everyone else is out, as the pair continue their rekindled relationship in secret.
Later, Rex turns up at Grace and Clare’s flat with Froggy in tow, insisting that they all sit down for a family meal.

"As you can imagine, teatime at Grace’s ends up being rather tense," our insider reveals. "Talk soon turns to snitching, which makes Rex uneasy, as it’s clear it hasn’t been forgotten that he changed his statement. But things then take a very dark turn…"

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
