Hollyoaks has aired a huge twist for Tony Hutchinson and Mercedes McQueen in a surprise ending that saw the two characters give in to temptation.
In Wednesday's episode, armed police surrounded the McQueen household looking for Mercedes' son Bobby after Myra accidentally let slip to Donny that he had been in contact.
After Bobby ran away, he was seen walking from the village where he was intercepted by the villainous Clare Devine, who pretended to be Mercedes' friend and offered him a ride.
In today's episode, with Bobby still missing, Myra tried to make amends with Mercedes, saying she was only having a chat with Donny as a neighbour and didn’t think about the repercussions for Bobby.

Clare turned up and told the McQueens that she offered Bobby a lift, telling them that Bobby attacked her with a knife before she dropped him at the train station.
In Marie's new salon, Diane and Marie apologised to each other for the harsh words they exchanged and Diane offered to help Marie with the books.
Darren passed by and teased Diane about Tony. Marie agreed, saying: "It's clear to everyone else you still care about each other." Diane left Tony a message asking him out to dinner.
Elsewhere, Darren and Tony went to check on The Dog. Tony found a takeaway cup with Mercedes initials on and realised Bobby had been hiding out in the pub.

Tony confronted Mercedes in the village about harbouring Bobby, but Mercedes pleaded with Tony not to go to the police, saying she was worried about her missing son.
"Tony, please don't go to the police. I am begging you. He's a good kid deep down," a tearful Mercedes told Tony before running off.
Tony went to the McQueens to apologise and Mercedes invited him to stay and have a drink with her. Meanwhile, an excited Diane dressed up for her dinner with Tony.
At the McQueens a drunk Mercedes and Tony gave in to temptation, sharing a passionate kiss as they ripped each other's clothes off.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
