Hollyoaks star Tyler Conti has spoken about his dramatic exit from the soap as Abe Fielding, which saw his character killed off.
The villain met his demise in Wednesday’s (February 5) episode, with Jez Blake and Grace Black contributing separately to his death following a knotty plot involving several village residents.
Conti, who debuted as Abe in January 2024, took to Instagram to pay tribute to his co-stars, crew and fans following the dramatic scenes, with the post including several photos from behind the scenes.

“Honestly couldn’t ask for a better last block, crew and cast to see my @hollyoaksofficial journey to a close,” he wrote in the caption. “Thank you everyone so so much. Special thanks to @wilkinson47 for steering the madness. I will miss you all. Abe out.”

Conti subsequently posted a video on his account, in which he said: “Abe’s gone - I’m sure you’re all chuffed. I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all the support since the beginning of Abe’s demise.”
“Everyone’s been amazing. I’ve loved every second of it, working with everybody at Hollyoaks,” continued Conti, before urging followers to donate to the “incredible” Women’s Aid UK for his latest charity challenge, in which he attempts to cycle from London to Istanbul.
The posts were greeted by messages from several Hollyoaks stars, with Rory Douglas-Speed - who played Conti’s on-screen half-brother, Joel Dexter - commenting: “You are a star! Missing you so much already man.”

“Congratulations Tyler on a cracking job and always being such a joy - I’m glad to have been given the opportunity to get to know you (and feed you) - keep up the adventures,” wrote Jessica Fox, who plays Nancy Osborne on the show.
Emma Johnsey-Smith and Oscar Curtis, who played Dilly Harcourt and Lucas Hay respectively, sent their own messages, whilst Nadine Mulkerrin - who plays Cleo - wrote “Love you mate” alongside a series of heart emojis.
There was also various emojis from Jonny Labey (Rex Gallagher), Kirsty-Leigh Porter (Leela Lomax) and Isabelle Smith (Frankie Osborne), with the latter also saying that her former co-star had “smashed it”.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
