Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has revealed the sex of her new baby.

The actor, who plays Theresa McQueen on the E4 soap, confirmed that she was expecting her second child with fiancé Oliver Piotrowski during an episode of Drama Queens in May. The couple already share a son named Forest, who was born in November 2022.

In a new Instagram post shared on Saturday (September 21), Porter showcased a carousel of photos from her gender reveal party.

The soap star was seen posing with a balloon, before cutting into a cream cake to reveal its bright pink filling.

"Thank you sooooo much for all your messages! We still can't believe it. We're having a GIRL," the caption read.

Porter reprised her role as Theresa on Hollyoaks earlier this year, after taking a year away on maternity leave following the birth of her son.

Upon her return, Theresa has been embroiled in Cleo McQueen's long-running coercive control storyline. She notably slept with Cleo's abusive boyfriend Abe Fielding after the couple agreed to have an open relationship.

Despite being part of one of soapland's most famous families, Porter recently revealed that she'd love to appear in rival show Neighbours – though she doesn't plan on leaving Chester anytime soon.

"The first time I left, the whole crew in the building said goodbye, but the second time, they were like, 'Oh, you've already gone'. I love Theresa, so I hope she does last forever," she told the Daily Star.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays - Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
