Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks' Nikki Sanderson, who stars as Maxine Minniver on the soap, has paid tribute to her co-star Ross Adams amid his upcoming exit from the show.
Fans of the soap will know that Ross has left the show after nine years, with his character Scott Drinkwell's exit scenes set to air soon as Scott considers a new life in Spain.
Asked what were her most memorable scenes to film with Ross, Nikki said: "There’s too many to name, like we were such a fantastic duo."

Speaking of the real life friendship between the pair, Nikki added: "I think that because Ross and I get on so well in real life, like really, really well, it’s fantastic for us because I think it translates on screen, you can see the friendship is real. So just because it’s Scott and Maxine you can see a lot of it is Nikki and Ross."

She continued: "And there’s just been so many scenes, I couldn’t possibly say 'oh this was my favourite scene', because we’ve just done so many together, and every scene we’ve done we’ve just had such a giggle doing it. Laughing constantly off screen, and then we’ve done our scene and they’ve said ‘cut’, and then we’ve started laughing again together. It’s been an absolute joy, I think any scene Maxine and Scott did were always belting."

Elsewhere, Nikki opened up about her hopes for Maxine's future, saying Maxine would "love to have more children".
"I think that if we’re thinking where she’d like to go forward, I think she’d like to advance in her career. As much as Maxine is ditsy, and I love that about her, she is also very switched on," she added.
Meanwhile, in scenes set to air next week, Scott goes missing leaving Maxine to question whether Jeremy is responsible for his disappearance.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
