Hollyoaks' Cleo McQueen and Abe Fielding are set to make a big change to their relationship, as their domestic abuse storyline continues.
In recent months, Abe's behaviour towards his girlfriend Cleo has been controlling and abusive, and things have escalated, as he has tried to convince her that her eating disorder has returned.
As Cleo has become more isolated from her family, Abe suggested they move in together, and after he made a shock admission about his past, she eventually agreed.

In scenes that will air next week, Abe encourages Cleo to pick up the keys to their new flat, but John Paul is concerned that she is making a bad decision.
Cleo confides in Misbah about her family not supporting her decision to move in with Abe, and Misbah gives her some advice.
Abe tries to drive Cleo further away from her family by telling her they are manipulating her, and he is unkind about Theresa in particular.

The pair have lunch with Misbah and Donny, which Abe isn't happy about. When they order, he encourages Cleo to get a salad, saying he wants her to get into healthy habits.
But Abe's controlling behaviour doesn’t go unnoticed, as Donny tells Misbah that he thinks he is a misogynist.
Cleo then stands up to Abe and tells him she doesn't like his constant nasty comments about both her and others, but he continues to gaslight her.

The couple fall out, and Abe doesn't stay at their new flat; the next day when John Paul asks them about their first night, they pretend they were together.
Wanting to make amends, Cleo begs Abe to let her prove that they can be a young, fun couple.
Abe and Cleo then throw a moving-in party at their flat, and as the villagers celebrate, Cleo picks at her food.

The group decides to play "never have I ever", and during the game, John Paul calls himself and cousin Cleo boring.
Cleo doesn't want to be stuck with this label, so to seem more exciting, she agrees to opening up her relationship with Abe.
But this isn't what Cleo really wants – later, she follows Kitty to the Loft and admits she doesn't want to share her boyfriend with someone else.
Will Cleo voice her concerns to Abe, or is it too late?
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
