Hollyoaks continues to explore Warren Fox's past next week, in the build-up to his big new storyline.

Show bosses have announced plans to delve into Warren's backstory this year, which will ultimately lead to some tense scenes with Richard Blackwood's new character Felix Westwood.

Next week, Warren is still on a road trip with Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) in order to track down Sienna Blake and the twins.

Warren and Brody are bickering constantly on the journey, while peacemaker Joel is desperately trying to keep everyone's spirits up.

Jamie Lomas, who plays Warren, appeared on ITV's This Morning this week and teased the planned character arc for his alter ego.

"He was brought up in a children's home, which we'll really delve into in the coming month. So he has to do what he has to do to survive," Jamie explained.

"We've got Richard Blackwood, who has just come in. He's going to be a great addition to the show, and he was part of Warren's history growing up in the children's home. We're going to really delve into that and find out why Warren is the way he is. I think fans will love it, and it will be really interesting."

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 12 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
