Hollyoaks serial killer Breda McQueen made a crucial mistake about her murder of Louis Loveday in Monday's (August 26) first-look episode on E4.
Breda (Moya Brady) has been desperately trying to cover her tracks ever since her partner Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna) fished up a body that later was identified as Louis.
The murderer attempted to throw suspicion on the women in Louis's life to get the heat off her, but was terrified when police told Louis's daughter Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) they'd found damning forensic evidence.
All the while, she's been trying to keep Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) distracted from searching for his son Harry Thompson, since she also recently killed Harry!
These two strands came together in Monday's episode when Tony decided to host a BBQ event at The Hutch in hopes of rallying the community to help him find his missing son.
Breda naturally tried to convince him that rumours about Harry are just "scaremongering", with Tony demanding to know why she was so against his search.

"I've grown so close to your family," she covered. "I just don't want to see you going off on some wild goose chase."
Talk later turned to the Louis Loveday case. The killer made a slip-up of epic proportions when she mentioned that Louis should have "stayed buried".
This rung alarm bells for Tony, who suspiciously asked: "Leela said the police kept that a secret. How did you know Louis was buried?"
Has Breda just been caught out, and has Tony's discovery put him in the firing line now too?
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
