Speaking about the possibility, Will teased: "It's such a huge violation for someone to do this. It's compounded by the fact that it's someone who Caleb thought had saved his life.
"Caleb would be incandescent with rage and he would want to kill Joe. In other situations, Caleb is not impulsive. He's quite calculated. He lets things happen and then he'll choose a moment to get revenge.
"But I think, with something like this, he'd just fly off the handle. It'd be totally out of character for him to be that extreme with his reaction, but it makes sense."
After spotting Joe's tablets next week, Caleb wonders if Noah Dingle may hold the key to the mystery.

Caleb sabotages a light fitting at the depot and calls on Noah to come and fix it. This gives him the opportunity to quiz Noah about his recent spiking ordeal – including how Noah believes he experienced strange hallucinations of Joe.
Will added: "Caleb knows that Joe is on some sort of medication, but he doesn't know what. He decides to get more information after Charity mentions that she just doesn't trust Joe and believes that he spiked Noah.
"He asks Noah about Joe because he knows that they're close and spend a lot of time together. Noah offers up the information about the night that he was spiked and how he thinks he saw Joe – he was in a hospital and there was a doctor there.
"It's all a bit weird and it's setting off alarm bells for Caleb. I think Joe might have got away with it, but he starts digging around Steph and Ruby's secrets and that sets the ball rolling for everything else to unravel. He should have kept himself to himself!"
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
