Emmerdale star Claire King has called for Kim Tate's dark side to return on the soap.
The character is well known for her villainous ways on the ITV show – though that has been less on display in recent scenes.
Kim is currently in the middle of a revenge plot with husband Will. Will is plotting against his wife with aid from Kim's financial advisor Peter and a mysterious third party.

However, scenes next week will see Will have second thoughts about the plan to lure Kim into a trap by renewing their wedding vows on Christmas Day, notably when she is hospitalised after a horse riding accident.

Opening up about Kim, Claire admitted she wants to see more of Kim's nasty side.
"She’s been nice for three years, really," she said. "It’s kind of ‘Zzzzzz. Hi kiddies! Come on, Granny takes you!’ It’s like, ‘Ugh! I want to kill someone!’"

Claire further revealed she has enjoyed playing Kim and Will's relationship on screen, saying: "We’ve enjoyed playing the toxic side of it, but I think they’re good together because he stands up for himself, he’s not a pussy with her.
"We like it and we like working together as well. It’s good, we’ve got a nice team here at Home Farm. It’s great."
However, when asked whether Kim could have it in her to kill her husband, Claire noted: "She could do that to anybody, yeah. She loves him but she likes toying with him as well."
