Emmerdale has aired a surprise return for dead character Holly Barton.
Sophie Powles briefly reprised her role in Wednesday's special episode (November 20), which focused on Moira Dingle's brain tumour storyline.
The latest visit to the Dales saw Moira undergo an operation to remove her tumour, with the first half of the episode focusing on dreams she was having while on the operating table.
Moira dreamt of spending time with her sons Kyle and Isaac indoors at Butler's Farm, but when she headed outside, there was a surprise in store.

Moira found her late daughter Holly by her side, reuniting the two characters on screen for the first time since Holly's fatal drug overdose in 2016.
Holly provided some words of comfort for her mum, promising that she was "better now" and apologising for making her so sad with her tragic drugs relapse.
Just when it seemed like Moira might follow Holly into the afterlife, she became concerned over the whereabouts of Kyle and Isaac elsewhere on the farm and insisted on checking on them.
In heartbreaking scenes, mother and daughter were parted once more as Holly headed off – and Moira's dream reached its end as she came through her operation.

Meanwhile, the second half of the episode played out in reverse chronological order, exploring how Moira's emotional husband Cain coped as he anxiously waited for news.
In the second major curveball of the episode, Cain cheated on Moira with his sister-in-law Ruby Fox-Miligan as a heated row between them at the garage led to unexpected passion.
Cain immediately regretted his actions, which came from his fears of losing his wife, but has he now jeopardised their entire future?
