Jai struggles to adjust to working alongside his biological father Amit after their recent rows over Rishi's death.
As we've previously revealed, upcoming scenes see Gabby Thomas accept Amit's offer to buy into the business.
Gabby has been wooed by Amit's talk of expanding The Hide into a bigger business empire, but she knows that her family won't be happy with her decision.

Jai's resentment stems from his recent discovery that Amit was present when Rishi died in July.
One of Emmerdale's Christmas storylines saw Jai's half-brother Suni share the secret with him. Amit had previously told Suni that he witnessed Rishi falling down the stairs as they rowed at Holdgate.

Recalling how he and Rishi argued on that fateful day, Amit explained: "We were up there and I was holding his shirt so he couldn't run away, begging him almost. Hating myself for doing it, hating him for making me.
"Then he grabbed my hand and I was still holding his shirt. He yanked it, he simply lost his balance."
After checking that there was nothing he could do to help Rishi, a panicked Amit left the house and pretended that he'd never been there.
