Jai Sharma has rejected Amit's pleas to reconcile in Emmerdale.
Earlier this week, Suni stunned Jai and Laurel by admitting he'd known his father Amit was there when Rishi suffered his fatal fall earlier this year.
Jai's immediate reaction was to suspect Amit of murdering Rishi to prevent the family's adoption story from being revealed, leading to Amit facing questions from police.
As a result of this revelation, Amit has been ostracised by Jai and the rest of the community at the Dales, and has even been forced to "seek shelter" at Caleb's flat because he had nowhere else to go.

In Friday's (December 29) episode, Amit felt like a social pariah after being yelled at by Jimmy King in the Woolpack and refused a room at the B&B.
Amit thought he should go try to clear the air with Jai, yet his son Suni warned him that would "only make things worse".
He later visited the Woolpack, where Caleb Miligan encouraged him to continue trying to build bridges with Jai since he'd done that himself with the Dingles.
Over at the HOP, Jai confided in Laurel that he felt especially hurt because he was actually starting to feel a bond with Amit
Amit soon showed up at the HOP, despite Suni's warnings against doing so. He was met with anger from Jai when he asked his son to "hear him out".
"I want you two gone," Jai shot back.
Jai insisted he'd be spending the New Year with his "real family", then warned them not to be there when he returned later on.
