1. Cain ignores doctors' orders in hospital
Cain recovers in hospital following his violent showdown with Aaron. After staying by his bedside, Moira is relieved when her injured husband wakes up.
Cain is checked over by the doctor and is encouraged to remain in hospital for a while longer as he needs to stay in bed. The bad boy ignores this and insists on discharging himself.

Once back at home, Cain concerns Moira with his use of painkillers and he storms out when she confronts him. Moira is relieved when Cain eventually returns and opens up about what has been bothering him.
2. Aaron faces a backlash
Aaron checks in with Chas to find out how Cain is doing after their fight, but she's visibly disgusted with her son and dismisses him. Mack is also unforgiving as he tells Aaron that he deserves everything that's coming to him.
Once Cain is out of hospital, the Dingles rally round to support him and snub Aaron, who's clearly an outsider after the previous week's events.
3. Chas makes a big decision
Liam questions Chas on why she's so determined to keep her family in the dark over her breast cancer diagnosis. When Liam encourages her to seek support, she finally decides to tell the Dingles the truth.
Later at the pub, Chas interrupts a family row to share her diagnosis. Everyone is shocked but supportive – apart from Aaron, who keeps his distance before walking out altogether.
4. Aaron prepares to leave
Unwilling to support Chas through her illness, Aaron decides that it's time to leave the village. Chas is heartbroken when she realises what he has planned.
Mack finally intervenes and urges Aaron to see sense. Aaron dismisses his friend, but can a persistent Mack get through to him?
5. Chas makes more decisions
Chas agrees to unite with Paddy to tell Eve about her cancer diagnosis. However, Paddy is soon left disappointed when Chas reveals that she wants to take Eve on holiday without him.
The Dingles gather to see Chas off as she heads away for her holiday. Chas is surprised when a supportive Mandy hands over a wad of cash from Paddy.
6. Nicola and Jimmy receive worrying news
The Kings become anxious when a date is set for Angelica's court hearing following her confession.
Nicola's worries intensify when Ethan advises her that Angelica is likely to face a custodial sentence.
7. Jimmy makes a difficult confession
Jimmy comes clean to Bob about how he'd advised Angelica to lie before she finally confessed to the police. Bob is furious to realise that Jimmy was prepared to let Cathy go down for his own daughter's mistake.
Nicola becomes increasingly distressed by the thought of Angelica being locked away. Struggling to see his wife suffering so much, Jimmy is shocked when she considers encouraging Angelica to backtrack by saying that she's not guilty. Jimmy convinces Nicola that this wouldn't be a wise move.
8. There's news about Cathy
As Nicola and Jimmy head off for court with Angelica, they cross paths with Brenda and Bob.
Brenda and Bob are pleased to confirm that the charges against Cathy have been dropped now that the police know she was falsely accused.
9. Jai quits his job
Jai pretends to be sick so that he doesn't have to work alongside Amit at The Hide. Laurel becomes frustrated that the pair can't resolve their differences.
Gabby rubs salt in the wounds by patronising Jai at work, prompting him to quit in protest.
10. Charity lies to Moira
Charity continues to conceal her troubles, but Moses can sense that something is bothering her. With the situation starting to affect Moses, the youngster goes AWOL.
Moira finds out what's going on and checks in with Charity, who continues to lie to her about how well she's coping.
11. Lydia worries about her marriage
Lydia and Sam are taken by surprise when there's a slight charge between them for the first time since Lydia's ordeal.
Before long, though, Lydia starts to fear that Sam is losing interest in her and doesn't want her anymore. Can the couple work things out?
