Former Emmerdale star Sophie Powles has given birth to her second child, a daughter.
The actress, who starred as Holly Barton in ITV's long running soap until her departure in 2016, revealed that she was pregnant in July of 2023.
Now, Powles has shared a series of snaps to Instagram to confirm that her baby girl arrived just before Christmas.
"Our little girl arrived before Christmas making it the most magic one yet," she wrote.

In the pictures, Sophie can be seen hugging both of her children while looking at a Christmas tree.

When Powles announced she was pregnant, she similarly shared the news to her Instagram account, writing, "Another little friend joining us on our adventures."
News of the little one's arrival has caused fans to flood to the actress's comments with well wishes.
"Ahhhh huge congrats to you and Mark," one wrote. "And welcome to your beautiful little girl."
Another added, "What a wonderful gift and special time for your family. Blessings be in abundance," while former co-star Ash Palmisciano, who played Matty Barton, wrote: "Ah beautiful congratulations to you guysss!"

Her first daughter, named Marli Ocean Waters, was born in August, 2021.
Powles exited Emmerdale in 2016 after being killed off via drug overdose in one of the soap's most shocking and impactful deaths.
Things haven't got any less dramatic for the soap. The Dales have recently been rocked by a "drastic" twist in Rhona Goskirk's storyline, a devastating diagnosis for Chas Dingle and another clash between Bob and Cathy Hope following the death of Heath.
