Suni Sharma has exposed his father Amit's secret over the death of Rishi Sharma in Emmerdale.
Amit's connection to his brother's shocking demise was recently revealed after Suni discovered his father's discomfort during a visit to Holdgate.
After being called out by his son, Amit eventually confessed he'd paid Rishi a surprise visit on the day of his death and had a confrontation with him on the stairs just before Rishi fell.

Amit has insisted that he didn't push his brother down the stairs, but confessed to his son that he abandoned Rishi when he discovered there was no pulse.

In Tuesday's episode (October 17), viewers saw more of the dark side of Amit after he was invited to stay in the country with his son.
Amit fell back into old ways when he tried to manipulate his son, insisting Suni wanted him to "work himself into an early grave" to make more money for the family.
"After all that's happened, I'd have thought you'd gained a little perspective and got your priorities straight," Amit sneered.
Suni's anger boiled over later when boyfriend Nicky could tell he was hiding something. Nicky wasn't prepared when Suni revealed that his father was there the day Rishi died.
"Now, obviously, it's too late to tell the truth [about Rishi's death]," Suni pointed out.
Suni was later visibly uncomfortable when Amit announced to Jai that he'd be staying in the village for a while to make sure the boys were "okay" after all they'd been through recently.
He was left conflicted as Amit encouraged him to invite Nicky and his dad Caleb to dinner, with Suni warning Amit they weren't "one big happy family".
