Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has hinted that Amit Sharma may be connected to Rishi Sharma's death.
Until Thursday's (October 12) episode, viewers had thought that Rishi died from hitting his head while falling down the stairs on Jai Sharma's wedding day.
Rishi had earlier argued with Jai, after Jai discovered that Rishi wasn't actually his biological father.

It was later revealed that Jai's biological father was Rishi's younger brother Amit — making Suni his half-brother and not his cousin, as they'd both always been led to believe.

Viewers have now met Amit, and in Thursday's (October 12) double-bill, there were hints he may have been with Rishi when he died.
The first hint was when Amit had a panic attack as he stepped in front of the staircase where Rishi died.
Viewers then heard an audio flashback echo of Amit asking: "Rishi, are you okay?"
Suni was forced to hold his father up from collapsing, with Amit demanding his son take him outside for fresh air.
"I should never have come back here," Amit muttered to himself.
Suni overheard his comment and asked when his father had ever been to Holdgate before. Amit insisted it was a "slip of the tongue" but his son knew he was lying.
"When were you here?" Suni demanded to know.
Amit insisted he needed to go, and rushed out the door before answering Suni's question. Is Amit connected to Rishi's death?
The Sharmas will have more problems to deal with in the coming weeks, as Amit is set to clash with Caleb Miligan over Suni's relationship with Nicky.
