Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Emma Atkins spent the New Year together and the latter took this opportunity to show off her "new bob".
Atkins plays Charity Dingle in the ITV soap – Webb's character Debbie Dingle's mum – so it was nice to see the pair taking their close working relationship to the outside world.

Posted to Webb's Instagram page on New Year's Day, she shared the snap alongside the caption: "HNY from us (and her new bob)."
Her followers soon flocked to the comment section, with one user particularly fond of Atkins' fresh new cut.
"Love it suits you," one person said.

Meanwhile, Webb was forced to defend her young son Buster's long hair last year after internet trolls took aim at her social media uploads.
"I think people think they have a right to have an opinion because of social media. Maybe you do," she said.
"But try keeping it to yourself, it's not important to us what you think of how our kids look. Or how we look. Or their names or whatever it is you might want to comment on."
Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
