EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (6 July), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders airs a terrifying cliffhanger tonight involving Honey Mitchell, as Bea Pollard commits her most twisted act yet. In a bid to clear her husband Billy’s name, Honey makes a desperate attempt to find Bea, a decision she may live to regret…

In last week’s episodes, Honey finally discovered Bea’s true colours after talking to her former housemate Ruth. But after a confrontation with Billy, Bea smashed up the house then phoned the police, claiming that he was trying to kill him - effectively framing Billy for her murder.

With a police cordon outside No.18, in today’s episode, Walford is in shock about the news that Billy seemingly killed Bea. Nicola lashes out at the likes of Jean, Mo and Suki for gossiping, and urges Honey to ignore them.

The pair head to the Boxing Den, where Phil is keeping Billy, and Honey is relieved to be reunited with her husband. But Honey then finds out from Linda that the detectives want to question her at the B&B.

What to Read Next

Honey tells the detective about what Bea did to Ruth, but she isn’t listened to, and the authorities continue with their murder investigation and search for Bea.

Returning to Billy and Phil, Honey resolves that they would need to find Bea themselves. She suggests that she could lure social media-obsessed Bea back by staging and livestreaming a candlelit vigil for her in the Square.

Honey encourages the community to help save Billy, and a large group agree to join in and make the vigil look convincing. Nicola films Honey making a heartfelt speech for her ‘dead’ best friend and streams it online.

As night falls in Walford, Honey spots a hooded figure in the shadows and follows them, catching Bea down by the allotments.

Honey begs Bea to come home and clear Billy’s name for the sake of the kids, making out that she believes he is a monster now and is going to leave him. But when Bea realises Honey doesn’t fully trust her, a scuffle breaks out and Honey is knocked unconscious.

As Billy leaves his wife a heartfelt message, Bea bundles Honey into the back of a car and drives off. Where is she going, and will Honey be OK?
