EastEnders star Clair Norris has confirmed exactly when her character Bernadette 'Bernie' Taylor will be leaving the show in an emotional post on social media.
The actor confirmed that her final episodes are set to air this week and she will bow out of the soap after the two double bills have aired on Monday and Tuesday.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Norris shared a picture of herself from April in which she could be seen holding up a script looking teary eyed.
"After I read my last script… smiles, tears & notes," she captioned the selfie, adding: "My last 4 eps are out this week… enjoy the rollercoaster."
Earlier this year it was confirmed that Bernie will be leaving Albert Square after eight years on the soap making her the final member of the Taylor family to leave Walford.

Back when her departure was announced, a spokesperson for EastEnders said: "We can confirm that Clair will be leaving EastEnders later this year and we wish her all the best for the future."
The soap has been gearing up for Bernie's exit storyline after it was confirmed that she had been stealing from the Panesars business and tweaking the books in order to pocket the cash.
All the clues seem to point to Bernie's secret being the reason the character will end up leaving and, with her last scenes set to air this week, fans don't have to wait long to find out what happens.

Meanwhile, Norris previously opened up about her departure, saying that leaving Walford behind was "upsetting" but she was "excited" for her future.
"Obviously it's upsetting but also I'd been there for eight years, which is a long time to play a character, and I have absolutely loved being in the show," she said.
"Of course it's sad but at the same time it felt like a natural end, with the Taylors being gone, it kind of felt right. I'm now very excited about the future," she added.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
