EastEnders star Lacey Turner has warned viewers to expect "the old Stacey" to return to Walford this autumn.
Stacey Fowler will have plenty of reason to be furious, as she'll arrive back in Walford to find her estranged husband Martin (James Bye) now dating her best friend Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton).
While discussing the soap's return on EastEnders: Secrets from the Square on Thursday (September 3), Turner hinted that Stacey won't take the news about her husband's new relationship very well.
"Martin and Ruby are together, so Stacey is not happy at all," Turner confirmed. "I think you might see a bit of the old Stacey kicking off."
Stacey might not be "happy at all" to be back in Walford, but Turner shared with Secrets from the Square presenter Stacey Dooley how thrilled she is to be back to work following her maternity leave.

"[It's] literally the best thing that's ever happened to me in my life," she said. "I love this job."
Turner's love for the job 16 years after being cast as Stacey Slater is a testament to the character, since she originally had auditioned to play Demi Miller in the soap.
"I then went home and they rang me and said I hadn't got it. I cried in bed," she recalled. "I went to bed that night and I was crying. But the next day I got a call from [series co-creator Julia Smith] who explained that [producer Tony Jordan] had said 'she's not a Miller, she's a Slater'.
"They told me they wanted to create a part for me and [asked] did I want to be a Slater?"
Everything seems to have worked out in the end!
EastEnders returns with brand new episodes on Monday, September 7 at 8.05pm on BBC One, while Secrets from the Square is also set to continue on Friday (September 4) with the best unseen moments.
