Coronation Street has confirmed the identity of Lauren Bolton's mystery blackmailer.
The truth is revealed in Friday's episode, which is streaming early on ITVX this morning ahead of the TV broadcast later today.
In a surprise twist, Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong's son Jake is unmasked as the sneaky culprit who's been tormenting Lauren since the florist van crash.
Lauren is gobsmacked – and relieved – when she sets a trap for her unknown enemy and discovers that it's an 11-year-old boy rather than someone more dangerous. Phew...

The revelations unfold as Lauren pursues her theory that her friend Bobby Crawford is the person pestering her for cash.
When the blackmailer demands £200 or they'll report Lauren to the police, she teams up with her partner-in-crime Betsy Swain to plant some fake cash in a bin at the Weatherfield Precinct.
The pair then lie in wait to see who turns up to collect the money – and it's hapless Jake who walks straight into the trap.
Frightened now that his actions have come back to bite him, Jake protests: "It was just a joke – I didn't think that you were going to take it serious."
