Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton fears she could be heading back to prison next week as she's involved in a chaotic crash incident on the road.

Lauren catches Betsy in the act and they both spot Tracy approaching. In a panic, Lauren decides to speed off with Betsy in the van – but her erratic driving quickly leads to disaster.

"Lauren crashes the van and it's left smashed-up at the precinct," our insider adds.

"Shaken up, Lauren decides this is a good time to mention to Betsy that she never passed her driving test and shouldn't have been behind the wheel in the first place!

"When the girls spot a police car pulling up nearby, it's panic stations for both of them. It's gone far beyond a silly prank – they could be facing serious charges here."

Corrie fans know that the last thing Lauren needs is any trouble with the police, so soon after the Joel Deering case.
