Coronation Street's Daisy Midgeley will clash with Jenny Connor over the Rovers early next year.

Daisy and Jenny will save the Rovers before the end of the year, using stolen money to buy the place back from Waterford's.

But it looks like the bliss might be short-lived, as scenes set to air on January 1 and 2 will see the pair starting to argue already.

Things start off well, as they celebrate the successful New Year's Eve relaunch and are told that they've been given permission to move back into the pub full-time while the sale goes through.

Daisy plans to get people in through the door with some special offers, but Jenny torpedoes the idea. When Bethany Platt walks into the pub and makes a sneering remark about how empty the Rovers is, Daisy goes against Jenny's orders and writes out a sign promising a free drink with every hotpot purchased.

What will Jenny say when she sees what Daisy has done, especially considering that Jenny is publicly meant to be the only boss?

Speaking of Bethany's return, Daisy actress Charlotte Jordan explained that she feels like her character will be very jealous due to Bethany's closeness with Daniel Osbourne, as well as her success in London.

"Bethany had that connection with Daniel when he was at his most vulnerable, which will instantly put Daisy on high alert, and I have to say it’s a relationship I’m really looking forward to playing around with," she said.
