Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Jenny Connor has agreed with stepdaughter Daisy's plan to buy the Rovers using stolen money in Coronation Street.

Previously, Jenny had been completely against using the money her ex-boyfriend Stephen stole from Carla's factory accounts to save the Rovers Return.

Daisy gained access to the £247,023.75 left in Stephen's secret account earlier this week and successfully transferred a small amount to her account as a test.

Jenny's attitude towards using the stolen cash softened after a frightful encounter with Carla Connor, who was making a big deal to save the factory.

When Carla laughed off her request to borrow some cash to save the Rovers, a stunned Jenny admitted she'd thought Carla would support her because they're "family".

"When you feel like it, when there's money to be had," Carla said.

Things turned nasty when Jenny pointed out that Carla's late father, Johnny, was always bailing out his children. Carla shot back that Jenny's ex, Stephen, was the one who caused the factory's financial problems.

"Do not blame Jenny for Stephen's actions," Daisy interjected.

Jenny nearly had to break up a fight between Daisy and Carla after the latter questioned whether Daisy had "run out of vulnerable men to take advantage of".

Following the harsh row with Carla, Jenny was more receptive to Daisy's point about Carla no longer needing the money since the factory was back on track.

Daisy pointed out that the entire community needed the Rovers Return, so it'd be in everyone's best interests for them to use Stephen's money to buy the pub.

"This is an opportunity to save the pub," Daisy argued. "Who knows what will happen if anyone else gets it?

"If you get it back, you're doing for the community."

Jenny finally agreed to use Stephen's money, though she vowed they'd eventually repay Carla. However, Daisy insisted that while Jenny could "pretend" to own the pub, Daisy wanted her name on the lease as co-owner.

"Publicly, it's yours, but privately, we are equals," Daisy told her stepmum.

Will this risky arrangement work out?
