Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has spoken about the possibility of unfinished business between Sarah and Adam Barlow.
The connection between the former couple is revisited in Friday's episode (October 13) as Adam realises that Sarah is in danger with serial killer Stephen Reid.
Corrie bosses have warned fans to expect tense scenes as Sarah and Jenny Connor both head into the boarded-up Rovers Return, which was recently closed by its new owners.
After lurking in the shadows at the pub, Stephen hits Sarah over the head with a bottle and then uses Jenny as a hostage as he plots his final escape.

When word reaches Adam that Sarah is in trouble, it's clear how much he still cares about his estranged wife.
Asked whether there's still a glimmer of hope for the pair if Sarah survives, Tina told Digital Spy and other media: "I don't know. It's interesting, because I have no idea how this is going to go with the writers.
"Sarah obviously made some really stupid decisions. She had an affair with Damon and then lied about who the baby's father was. They've been through a lot and I think she has pushed that relationship so far that I'm not sure if the trust can ever be fixed."

She added: "I think what's so beautiful, though, is that Adam still clearly cares about her. He's not the guy who would ever hurt her in any way – and vice versa. I think there's a lot of love and care there for each other.
"Whether or not they could ever go anywhere with that, I don't know. I'm not sure which way the audience will want that to go!"
Adam shared his plans to divorce Sarah in early August, unable to forgive her for repeatedly lying to him.
