Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Summer Spellman storyline takes another dramatic turn next week, as Paul Foreman fears that he has killed Mike Hargrave.
Paul goes out for revenge after Mike's villainous side is exposed in surprising new scenes.
In upcoming episodes, Summer makes an unexpected discovery about Mike and she heads off to confront him for deceiving her.
Mike responds by locking Summer in the nursery at his home and holding her captive, leaving her without her bag which contains her phone and insulin.

Next week, Summer's boyfriend Aaron Sandford heads over to Mike and Esther's place after struggling to get hold of her.
Still not prepared to let Summer go, Mike lies that she has gone shopping with Esther. Aaron is suspicious but reluctantly leaves.
When Mike finally unlocks the nursery door, he's horrified to discover that Summer is unconscious.
Before Mike can do anything to help, Esther returns home and demands to know what's going on. Esther calls an ambulance, while Mike spins her a false story about how Summer came to be in this state.

Aggie Bailey is on shift at the hospital when Mike and Esther arrive with Summer. She overhears Mike giving a false name for Summer, so calls Billy Mayhew to tip him off over what's happening.
Later in the week, the police get involved in the situation. Billy, Paul and Aaron are all shocked when Mike and Esther tell the police that Summer lied about being pregnant to extort money from them.
Things only get worse when persistent Mike pays a visit to Summer's hospital bedside. Paul and Todd Grimshaw catch him there and when Mike rushes off, they decide to follow him.

As Mike approaches his front door, Paul and Todd confront him.
Paul sees red over Mike's mistreatment of Summer, so gives him a hard shove.
Mike falls to the ground and hits his head on a plant pot.
As Paul and Todd look down helplessly at Mike's motionless body, Paul can't help fearing that he has killed Mike. Is he in serious trouble?
