Coronation Street delves back into the Scott Emberton mystery tonight (August 24) as Johnny Connor makes his return to the cobbles.
Fans have been left to speculate over a mysterious connection between Scott (Tom Roberts) and Johnny (Richard Hawley) since April.
In Monday's episode, Johnny finally reappears in Weatherfield after months away in France, during which he spent time with Eva Price and his granddaughter Susie.
Johnny surprises his daughter Carla (Alison King) by tuning up unexpectedly at the Rovers Return, having not told anybody that he was due back.

What to Read Next
Top on the list of Johnny's priorities is making peace with his wife Jenny, who's annoyed with him for staying away for so long.
However, Johnny also takes the time to ask about Scott, who'd been staying in the pub's B&B when he left for France.
Johnny is relieved to hear that Scott moved out of the pub a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately for Johnny, the saga isn't over just yet as Scott is still staying in rented accommodation nearby.
Carla notices Johnny's uneasiness over the Scott situation and still strongly suspects that she's not getting the full story. Is it only a matter of time before Johnny's family find out what's really going on?
