Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Gary Windass is set to take part in the world's first socially distanced stunt next week, as he leaps in front of a car to stop his ex Sarah Platt from getting run over.
The events of the episodes will bring Gary's feelings for Sarah to the forefront again. And despite his engagement to Maria Connor, trust us when we say there's a lot of feelings there.
"He still loves her, doesn't he? And I think he always will," Gary actor Mikey North told Digital Spy and other media.

"All that stuff he did with Rick and Rana and the roof stuff was all to help them out and to save her to protect her. I guess he feels hard done by that he's had to do these things and she's off with someone else, he doesn't like that.

"Don't get me wrong, he does love Maria, she has been nice to him and kind and he does love her, he really does, and he does want to marry her. But the stuff with Sarah will always be bubbling under and this brings it all to a head."
Gary and Maria's relationship has already come under a lot of strain, as Maria sadly miscarried earlier in the year, and actress Samia Longchambon admitted that her character still has a thing for Ali Neeson.

Interestingly, the scenes that will air next week were originally planned to be even more dramatic.
Coronation Street currently airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7.30pm on ITV.
