Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's David Platt finds a friend in Craig Tinker next week as he continues to struggle.
David (Jack P Shepherd) has been on another downward spiral since his estranged wife Shona Ramsey asked him for a divorce.
Viewers have seen David start to deliberately put himself in dangerous situations, wanting to feel the same buzz that he enjoyed when he was targeted by muggers recently.
Later this week, David tries to create a repeat incident by heading to a rough estate and standing on the bonnet of a car driven by drug dealers, who soon give chase.

Coronation Street's producer Iain MacLeod recently promised an interesting new chapter for David, as Shona will be returning to our screens soon.
MacLeod told Digital Spy and other media: "We thought it'd be really interesting to see two characters who have been in love for years have to fall back in love with each other when one has suffered a life-changing brain injury that has had some impact on her personality.
"It will be a love story first and foremost and it will be comedic in places, because David and Shona are at their best when they're being funny, sparky and spiky with each other.
"Ultimately it's going to be a bumpy road for them."

He added: "It has the Platts' usual fun and games and it's a long-runner for us, but ultimately it will have a happy ending. Nobody's got any desire long-term to split up David and Shona, they're quite cheese and crackers – one is nothing without the other.
"I'm looking forward to seeing how the audience reacts to that. But I think it's a really unique and original story."
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
