Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby has an emotional heart-to-heart with her sister Toyah next week as she awaits answers on her son Oliver.
Oliver is about to be admitted to intensive care as his seizures become more regular and severe, leaving Leanne and Steve McDonald desperate for an explanation over their boy's condition.
As we've already revealed, scenes airing next week see the worried parents learn that Oliver may have mitochondrial disease – a life-limiting condition which currently has no cure.
Steve does some research and becomes optimistic when he learns that there are different strains and many people with the disease lead full and normal lives.

The doctor later holds off on a firm diagnosis by explaining that more tests need to be done. Steve loses his temper in response, demanding to know if his son is going to live or die.
Later in the week, a struggling Leanne confides in Toyah about her own feelings on the situation.
Leanne explains that she doesn't know which is worse – not knowing what's wrong with Oliver, or the possibility of finding out that it's something serious.
Viewers will also see Leanne turn to her partner Nick Tilsley for support after an earlier row.

There's some tension at the hospital when Nick expresses his disapproval over Leanne and Steve making jokes at Oliver's bedside, even though they're only putting on brave faces.
Leanne eventually apologises to Nick and they make up, trying to stay strong and united as they put Oliver first.
Last week, Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod explained how the Oliver situation would take a toll on Nick.
He also promised fans that they'd be seeing much more of Toyah, following complaints that she had been underused.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, May 20 and Friday, May 22 at 7.30pm on ITV.
