Coronation Street has received a number of complaints after last week's special Yasmeen and Geoff episode.
Friday night's instalment (May 1) saw Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) corner Yasmeen (Shelley King) with a knife, before Yasmeen responded in self-defence by hitting her abuser with a wine bottle and stabbing him in the neck.
Following the dramatic scenes, 276 complaints have been made to broadcasting regulator Ofcom regarding the episode.

"We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate," an Ofcom spokesperson said.
Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for comment.

The episode marked a significant turn in the coercive control storyline, which has been going on for months.

After dialling 999 and declaring her belief that she'd murdered Geoff, Yasmeen was taken down to the police station following the incident in another special episode last night (May 4).
Further developments next week will see Yasmeen appear in court for a bail hearing as she tries to make the case that her actions were those of self-defence.
With Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) also learning of Yasmeen's domestic abuse ordeal, will Geoff's actions finally come to light?
And can Yasmeen escape a prison sentence?
