Coronation Street's Yasmeen has been warned she could be facing a murder charge after viciously attacking her abusive husband Geoff Metcalfe.
In last week's shocking scenes, viewers saw Yasmeen hit Geoff over the head with a wine bottle and then use the broken glass to stab him in the neck, having finally been pushed to breaking point by his evil ways.
Picking up from there, tonight's scenes (May 4) saw Yasmeen dial 999 and tell the operator that she'd killed her husband. At least, she thought she had.

As Peter Barlow, Brian Packham and Cathy Matthews left the pub, they saw the ambulance and two police cars pull up outside Number 6. Tim Metcalfe ran towards the house but was blocked from entering by a police officer.

Meanwhile, as the paramedics tended to Geoff, Yasmeen was stunned to realise that he was still alive. As he was loaded into the ambulance, Yasmeen was arrested on suspicion of assault.
At the police station, with lawyer Imran present, the police interviewed Yasmeen and played back the recording of her call to the emergency services, in which she admitted to killing her husband.
Asserting that he needed to speak to his client alone, Imran then urged Yasmeen to think very carefully before answering any questions, warning her that if Geoff dies, she'll be facing a murder charge.
Will Geoff survive? And if so, will the truth of his abusive behaviour towards Yasmeen finally be exposed?
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
