Alan Halsall has apparently responded to his ex Lucy-Jo Hudson in a very public way.

Sharing a picture of a sunset on his Instagram story, the Coronation Street actor wrote: "No regrets".

It comes after Lucy-Jo, who shares daughter Sienna with the Tyrone Dobbs actor, recently welcomed a baby boy with her new partner Lewis Devine.

Following the birth of son Carter Ray, Lewis referred to as Sienna "our daughter" on social media.

Alan responded on his own account in a now-deleted post, writing: "You're welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter."

"But Lewis and I try to keep things like that very private. Sienna isn't aware of what happened and all that matters is that she has loving parents on both sides."

Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
