Former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson has revealed the touching meaning behind her baby son's middle name.
Lucy-Jo, who played Katy Harris in the ITV soap, welcomed her baby boy Carter with partner Lewis Devine back in February.
She also shares six-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae with her ex-husband and former Corrie co-star Alan Halsall, and, in a recent interview with OK!, she explained how she wanted both her children to feel more connected, despite having different fathers.
That's why she decided to give Carter the middle name Ray, so they could both share a name.

"As her full name is Sienna-Rae, he [Lewis] thought if we gave Carter the middle name Ray it would connect them a bit more. It was such a lovely idea – Sienna was beaming when she found out," she said.

During the same interview, Lucy-Jo opened up about the challenge of co-parenting with Alan in the wake of their recent public feud.
"Me and Alan sometimes have different views on raising Sienna so trying to co-parent can be challenging. It’s probably like that for a lot of blended families," she said.
"But Lewis and I try to keep things like that very private. Sienna isn’t aware of what happened and all that matters is that she has loving parents on both sides."
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
