Coronation Street's Ryan Connor is set to get increasingly drawn into Gemma Winter's dramas.
In a new preview clip from the soap, Chesney enters the Rovers Return and spots Ryan comforting Gemma after a heart-to-heart in the backroom.
However, Chesney gets the wrong idea, leading Gemma to storm out and Ryan to declare: "She was upset so I made her a cuppa. That is the last time I try and be a good Samaritan!"
Chesney is currently unaware that Gemma is pregnant with his child, and she decided not to tell him after finding out on the day they split up.
Ryan suggests to Gemma that she gives her relationship with Chesney another try, though after the scene in the Rovers she decides to make plans to leave.
Chesney will find out about the baby, and Coronation Street has confirmed that Gemma eventually decides to stay on the cobbles.
