Coronation Street has confirmed that pregnant Gemma Winter won't be disappearing from the cobbles after this week's episodes.
The show had been teasing a possible exit for Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell), as she seriously considers going to live with her mum later this week.
An upset Gemma questions her future after the recent breakdown of her relationship with Chesney Brown.
Knowing that she's expecting Chesney's baby, Gemma wants him by her side – but he continues to push her away as he's oblivious to what's really going on. Things get particularly tricky when Ches jumps to conclusions and thinks Gemma has started dating Ryan Connor, causing tensions at The Rovers.
Chesney later discovers that Gemma is expecting his baby, but fears it's too late when she refuses to return home to the Street and goes back to her old estate.
Fortunately, Coronation Street's official website has revealed that Gemma is going nowhere – and will be back where she belongs in time for next week's episodes.
